Another huge project is now underway...


Besides the fact that the Heating/Air Conditioning guy shows up randomly, I haven't had a completed kitchen for about three months now. Before we even started the roof, Kenneth ripped out everything in the kitchen. We should have been done by now but our first order of the countertops were cut wrong and missing pieces. We ordered the countertop in October.. it is now almost January and we still don't have the complete set. Its not totally Lowe's fault but I do have to say they are who we have ordered through. ANywho.. here is a before shot and the progress at this point.

Notice the 1970's Heater! That was actually ripped out about February of last year when we got the Fireplace for my birthday.

Everything in the kitchen is about 2 times shorter than a normal kitchen.. we can't figure it out especially since the people who lived here were not midgets. The kitchen sink was only about an inch deep and about a foot wide. Nothing could fit into it. And, I can't forget to mention that the dishwasher was the probably the first model of dishwashers ever made... you definately had to pull it out and hook it up to the sink :-) Kenneth and I got a new dishwasher and new faucet as soon as we moved into the house. Both side walls are now ripped out as you will see down below and the two rooms are now completely open.
